Wow 13 followers!

I need to start dressing this blog up a bit. I tried adding a picture a few posts back but for whatever reason it did not work. This time it seems to be working! This is the bike I've been currently riding! I love it more and more by the week.

I'd like to do a post with pictures of what I ate that day like I've seen on various other blogs. I like those posts.

I did not know what to expect when I started this blog. I've never ever blogged before. After the first couple of posts I thought maybe this would just be something for me to keep myself accountable. A personal journal of sorts. I wondered if anyone would even find it, then I started getting followers and feed back. Clyde was the first.

I want to thank everyone who takes the time to share this experience with me and for all the kind words and motivation. I am very happy that I have found this community of support and understanding.

EVERYONE keep taking steps to make your goals a reality!

  1. Clyde was my first follower too!

Do what you want with the blog. I am trying to spruce mine up a little because I feel like the more time I spend with my blog...the more conscious I am with my eating and exercise. The blog itself motivates me. Not as much as the people who read it though.

  2. I think Followers help me to stay accountable for what I eat. If I know I have to confess on the blog later, I might be less inclined to eat that doughnut or Hershey bar in the first place.

  3. I agree with you guys about the blog being such a big motivator. Theres no one over weight in my family, they dont understand what a a struggle it can be sometimes and I feel like this community is GREAT! Its so encouraging to read about others who are fighting the fight and winning, and its such a blessing to have understanding when we are frustrated at meeting our goals :)

So glad I found your blog :)

  4. Is that a spinning bike?

I love the blogs with pictures of the day's food! For some reason, what other people eat fascinates me (and tons of other people). I like to get new meal and snack ideas from Blog Land.

  5. I'm doing a month-long challenge right now where I take pics of everything I put in my mouth, without fail. I needed the accountability factor...it's working! Down 12.4 lbs in 2 weeks already!! Woo Hoo!! :)

  6. Hey everyone! I get so much from all of the support and comments as well. I also started my blog, wondering if anyone would ever read it. I just wanted to know if anyone struggled like me or could actually climb out of a weight problem.

I feel so energized now to continue eating well and moving more. I don't tend to like the food lists as much, but I'll give them a closer look and even try one myself.

Marcus, by Monday morning's official weigh-in, you will be forever out of the 300's! A 28-pound loss in 60 days, simply be eating better and moving more. Excellent work, brother!

  7. Thanks Big Clyde. It is hard work but it has also been very rewarding thus far.

CinciMom11-- Yes it is a spinning bike. I think the wheel is 46 or 48 pounds? It is sturdy.
